Christmas Countdown #4: RedBear Design

I'm loving the bold colors in this Joy Cross Stitch pattern by RedBear Design. There are loads of lovely Christmas and holiday patterns and kits in this shop - if you're looking for a sweet small project for the holidays, you might like to visit the RedBear Design shop!

Christmas Countdown #3: Lolli And Grace

These wonderful Sewing Ornaments by Lolli and Grace certainly merited a feature. The best thing about crafting ornaments for the holidays is that if you run out of time for this year's tree, you can simply pack them up and be ready early for next year's crafting!

Christmas Countdown #1: Threadhoney's Shop

Happy Holidays pattern - Threadhoney shop

Hi all! It's been a rough year, hasn't it? It's December and I thought we might all need some Christmas cheer. So I'll be counting down the days to Christmas - our wonderful friend Pam did our countdown in years past, and I'll be doing it in her honor this year.

I'll put my Wonderful Wednesday posts on pause for the month of December, so I can feature a new inspiring shop every day until Christmas. Whether you're in the market for a new pattern or not, I hope these images will inspire you!

So, first up, is Threadhoney's shop on Etsy - I love the simple style in the Happy Holidays pattern above, and the wintery blue palette.

But if red and green are where it's at for you, this We Wish You A Merry Christmas pattern has got you covered. Is there a shop you love that you'd like me to feature? Leave a comment below!

Wonderful Wednesday #29: Brighter Industries

This sweet Christmas A to Z cross stitch pattern by Brighter Industries looks just adorable. And if the shop name Brighter Industries is new to you, as any loyal reader of Feeling Stitchy, the name Jo should be very familiar, indeed.

Jo Stafferton was a wonderful contributor to our blog for quite some time, featuring new Etsy patterns and online shops in a weekly Sunday feature. So it is such a pleasure to feature her brand new Etsy shop and pattern on this Wonderful Wednesday!

Wonderful Wednesday #27: Clementine Patterns

In the past week, with all that has happened, I find myself taking comfort in the qualities I see in those that I respect and admire. I don't have to listen to the voices that speak the loudest - if I can filter through and find the voices that speak the truth in love.

So this Fruit of the Spirit pattern by Clementine Patterns really speaks to me this week.

Wonderful Wednesday #25: Sew Jenaissance

What a gorgeous little Wreath Pattern this is, courtesy of the Sew Jenaissance Etsy shop. I like that this pattern gives you three different text options, so you can make this pattern a little bit more your own - choose from: "Give Thanks", "Harvest Time", and "Our Harvest Home". There is also a stitch and color guide - and so many sweet details in this pattern!

Wonderful Wednesday #24: Little Thimble Studios

Ok, I love Halloween, and I also love a quick project you can sandwich in between all of your bigger crafting projects - this Halloween PDF Pattern by Little Thimble Studios looks perfect for that!

By the way, there's a little poll on our blog right now, would you mind clicking over to see it? I'm just curious how you found us, in particular, how you found this post! As you may know Twitterfeed is going away, which is how we've been doing our auto-Twitter and Facebook posts. I'd like to know how you find us, and where you would like to see our posts. Thanks all! :)

Wonderful Wednesday #22: Lolli and Grace

Today, I couldn't resist featuring this lovely Hand and Heart PDF pattern by Lolli and Grace, who has a wonderful Etsy shop that Amy has featured here before.

There's such a lovely and intricate simplicity to this design - I adore the colors she's chosen, and it would work so well in many different schemes!

Wonderful Wednesday #19: Namaste Embroidery

I've been admiring the gorgeous handwork of Namaste Embroidery for some time, so I was quite excited to see this lovely Floral Wreath PDF Pattern in her shop. This would make a perfect sampler for a birth or a wedding, or just something beautiful for yourself.

Wonderful Wednesday #16: Gulush Threads

This sweet Cactus Study PDF pattern by Gulush Threads has fascinating details and gorgeous colors - and at my last check, is on sale.

I first found Gulush Threads through her lovely Instagram feed, @gulushthreads and fell in love with her unique sense of bright color and texture, I highly recommend following her feed to see what she's up to.

Wonderful Wednesday #10: The Noble Thread

Folk Garden Pattern by The Noble Thread

I absolutely love the wooly texture in this beautiful Folk Garden PDF Pattern - but I'm sure it would look equally lovely stitched up in DMC floss - the pattern includes color options for DMC, Appleton crewel wool, and Renaissance crewel wool.

It's hard to believe there are only 8 stitches used in this piece - it is so beautifully and delicately stitched, one would think it was far more!

Wonderful Wednesday #9: Miniature Rhino

Ampersand PDF pattern by Miniature Rhino

From time to time, I love to check on Miniature Rhino and see what lovely work she is up to - like this beautiful bold Ampersand pattern on Etsy. I love the variety of stitches and bright colors in this wonderful piece. I bet you could do a fascinating version of this in black and white as well.

Wonderful Wednesday #8: Nancy Nicholson

Butterflies Pattern by Nancy Nicholson

I am floored by the talented, bright, colorful stitchery of Nancy Nicholson - and this dense Butterflies PDF pattern on Etsy does not disappoint!

If you're looking for a larger challenge, her printed linen kits look impeccable as well, and include a gorgeous drawstring stitchable bag:

Wonderful Wednesday #6: Cree Rainbow Warrior

Rainbow Warrior pattern by little dear on Etsy
Cree Rainbow Warrior pattern by littledear

I find this Rainbow Warrior pattern in littledear's Etsy shop so inspiring, in a week when it is hard for me to find something wonderful. The colors, the textures, the tinted fabrics, and above all the message of love and unity in the story behind this pattern inspire me.

In the US we have faced another mass tragedy, with a beautiful rainbow of lives lost. It is so frustrating to see even the small measures proposed by our government defeated, and that our Senate has once again chosen not to act.

But when I feel discouraged, I'm reminded by the words in Aimee's post that there is hope. I too, hope that "more and more people become Rainbow Warriors and help make this world a better place."

Wonderful Wednesday #1: Sarah K. Benning

May Flowers PDF Pattern by Sarah K. Benning

Hello all! Today, I thought I'd start a new series called Wonderful Wednesday, that features wonderful patterns and kits I find on Etsy and the web.

First up is talented artist Sarah K. Benning, who just listed a lovely May Flowers PDF Pattern in her Etsy shop. In addition to her talented stitching, I love her unique embroidered style and her beautiful choice of botanical colors.
